All of our contact information is at the bottom of each website page.
We’re happy you stopped by The
Macs website. Our prayer is that you

Updated: May 4, 2012
For
those who check this before we get our Top Ten list updated below -
Stacie's PET scan was totally clear - NO MORE CANCER! We still
have some decisions to make about steps the doctors want to her to take
to insure that it won't come back, but
for now we PRAISE THE LORD she is officially cancer - free.
We
will send out an official update soon with more details.
Thank
you all so much for your prayers.
GOD
IS GOOD!
We want to thank all our family and friends for their prayers and notes
of encouragement regarding Stacie's health. God is Faithful!
We will keep you updated below with the latest news after each doctor
visit. Please continue to lift us up in prayer.
We will be "off the road" through the summer months but are now
taking concert dates for fall and winter.
Thank you to all who have already called and scheduled us!
In spite of not doing concerts right now, we were able to
sing the National Anthem on Sunday afternoon, March 4, for the NCAA
Division II South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball finals in Hickory. We
recorded it and it is now posted on YouTube. Here is the link:
Top Ten Things We
Know:
10. Our precious daughter,
Stacie, was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma cancer in Oct., 2011.
After 7 rounds of chemo, Stacie was pronounced officially in
remission PRAISE THE LORD! Please continue to pray for wisdom
for our awesome medical team at the Duke Med Center as they do in the natural what they know to do. But
at the same time praise God with us for His healing power that flows through
her body - so she will continue to be healthy and whole.
9. Stacie had her 9th
treatment on April 13th - 15th and the last treatment is scheduled on May 4th.
But before that last treatment, she will have another PET scan and blood
work. When those results are in, we pray and believe that last
hospital stay will not be necessary because the doctors will see that
she is completely healed and everything is working exactly as God
created it to work! The doctors may still have their plan to keep this from ever recurring,
and we will see what they have to say, but our heart's desire is that we
are almost done!
8. We want to thank everyone
on our prayer teams - our family, friends, partners, and even people we
have never met, who have stood with us in prayer.
What a blessing to have mighty prayer warriors on
our side! We love you all.
7. We again want to
give special thanks to the schools where Stacie and
Dennis work. Both have given enormous support through the last few
months.
New
Dimensions Charter School in Morganton, where Stacie is the
Exceptional Children's Coordinator, Challenger Early College High School in
Hickory where Dennis is a counselor, choir director, and coach.
Thanks also to Jeannie's publisher, Rowe Publishing
and Design, plus all her Kansas friends who are stepping up to
help market her new book. Sharing this journey as a family has been a blessing,
and we could not have done that without the help of friends and co-workers. THANK
YOU ALL.
6.
We must keep the
Word in front of us - in our eyes, our ears and our mouths - and that will not change. God's
music (especially Southern Gospel of course), preaching, and Word
teaching have been so precious to us the last few months. His peace has
been overwhelming from the day Stacie was diagnosed.
"We refuse to fear" were the first words
out of our mouths and staying in the Word gives the strength we need to
"Fear Not."
5. "We overcome by
the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony." Our prayer is that
we will be a blessing and a testimony to everyone we meet or who follows
us on this journey. We are so grateful for every chance to
minister through our testimony and music.
4. We know that
God's Word is health to our bodies and nourishment to our bones.
Spending time in prayer and the Word of God has become sweeter each day
and it will continue to be our priority. For we know:
Psalm 118:23 & 24 - "This is from the Lord and is
His doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day the Lord has
brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it."
3. We have learned
that it is of utmost importance that we confess and stand in faith on the healing promises of
God and take them as “medicine” every day - in sickness and
in health. We use our authority as
believers to speak to the mountain of sickness and disease and command
it to MOVE in Jesus Name and never come back!
The Holy Spirit
leads each of us to new truths every day as we are individually in the
Word of God - and what a blessing to share God's Word with each other.
2. Our testimony
will be used for the Glory of God. We are so excited about the new
songs God has given us through this, about His goodness, faithfulness, and healing power and what our
response needs to be. We are anxious to share them with you both in
concert and on our new CD, which we are working on now. For all
He has done in our lives, all He is doing, and all He is going to do, we give Him praise
and we rest in His love and
care - which is so sweet.
AND AS ALWAYS THE NUMBER ONE THING WE KNOW
IS: GOD’S PROMISES ARE TRUE.
“For I
know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you
and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
The Macs have
many more songs to write and sing for Him.
From The Mac's house to yours, thank you
for your prayers,
your
love and concern. God is GOOD and
may He Bless You abundantly.

Jeannie, and Stacie
