Welcome to our
Website
We hope you will visit often to keep up with what God is doing in our ministry. We'd love to hear from you so please drop us an email and let us know what God is doing in your life.
All of our contact information is at the bottom of each website page.
We’re happy you stopped by The
Macs website. Our prayer is that you
think about how good God is, and remember all He has done and IS
doing.
Updated: January 16, 2012
We want to thank all our family and friends for their prayers and notes
of encouragement regarding Stacie's health. We will keep you
updated as we know more and please continue to lift us up in prayer.
We will be "off the road" until March, 2012, but are looking forward to
booking concerts again very soon.
Top Ten Things We
Know:
10. Our precious daughter,
Stacie, has been diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma cancer. But the
healing power of God and the prayers of friends and family are working
above and beyond what we could ask, hope or think. She is doing
great and her doctor is very pleased with her labs and how she is
responding to the treatments.
9. Because of
God’s favor and Divine connections, she has one of the best care teams
available (here on earth) at Duke Medical Center in Durham, NC.
She had her fourth chemo treatment on Jan 13. They will continue to be
given every 3 weeks. She had absolutely no nausea at all this time
PRAISE THE LORD. We are learning what to do and what she can eat
and we have found the right combination we think!
8. Our awesome support
group - family, friends of The Macs all over the world, our churches,
our colleagues, and our partners in ministry, have been so wonderful.
We continue to get phone calls, cards, Facebook messages and emails with
words of encouragement. It is great to have mighty prayer warriors on
our side! Keep it up!
7. Stacie has been
in excellent spirits this entire journey. Her attitude has been
and continues to be that we are attacking this with prayer and believing
God first, practicing good health in eating and exercise second and the
doctor's advice and medicine third. So far it has been an
excellent combination.
6. Gospel songs
and good preaching and teaching have been so precious to us the last few
months. We have listened to many preachers and singers and are keeping
our eyes, ears, mouths, and hearts filled with God's Word. His peace has been overwhelming from the day
Stacie was diagnosed and has
only become sweeter with every passing day. Fear has no place in our
house and it is our fervent desire that the peace we have overflows upon
everyone we meet on this journey.
5. Prayer changes
things. Please pray with us that Stacie will continue to respond well to
the treatment and that side effects will be minimum (or NONE with God's
favor.) We enjoyed a nice quiet Christmas at home, celebrating our
Savior's birth. The next treatment is February 5. But before then, Stacie will have
another PET scan. We are praying and believing that it comes back clear
and we ask you join us in that prayer. But no matter what that
report is, she will have two more treatments so the doctors are sure it
is gone - (we already know!)
4. We have and
will continue to speak only the Word of God over this situation, knowing
that His Word is health to our bodies and nourishment to our bones.
IT IS WRITTEN, "By His stripes we are healed." Spending time in
prayer and the Word of God has become sweeter each day. Truly, "in His
presence is fullness of joy."
3. We continue to
do all the doctors
tell us to do, but most importantly we confess and stand in faith on the healing promises of
God and take them as “medicine” every day - all three of us. We use our authority as
believers to speak to the mountain of sickness and disease and command
it to MOVE in Jesus Name and never come back!
2. We sing a song
called "The Glory Goes to You" and that is our testimony even more now.
For
all He has done in our lives, all He is doing, and all He is going to do
as we travel this pathway, we give Him praise. And we rest in His love and
care.
AND THE NUMBER ONE THING WE KNOW
IS: GOD’S PROMISES ARE TRUE.
“For I
know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you
and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
The Macs have
many more songs to write (and we are!) and to sing for Him.
From The Mac's house to yours, thank you
for your prayers,
your
love and concern. God Bless You.
Dennis,
Jeannie, and Stacie
